Dr. Shen Ling, DMD is a leading and well-respected dentist practicing in the South Bay area with offices in Torrance and Diamond Bar, California. He and his experienced team provide a variety of dental services including bone grafting, pocket reduction surgery, scaling and root planning, gum grafting, laser assisted periodontal treatments, dental implants, All-On-4® One Day Dental implants, and crown lengthening.

Dr. Shen Ling came to the U.S in his early life and has been through rigorous and highly competitive training throughout his career. With a biology major, he continued on to graduate studies at UCLA, and then entered the prestigious Harvard School of Dental Medicine where he graduated with Magna Cum Laude honors in 1994. He furthered his education, returning to UCLA, with a three-year specialty residency training program in periodontics and implant surgery. 

In 2001, Dr. Ling became Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI). Dr. Ling is a consultant to several dental manufacturers and frequently speaks at national meetings and study groups. His most recent lecture was given at an international implant meeting in Shanghai, China. 

While at Harvard and UCLA, Dr. Ling was involved with research in antimicrobial therapy in periodontics and non-surgical therapy which have won him awards and resulted in scientific publications in several dental journals. Dr. Ling limits his clinical practice to surgical and conservative periodontics, periodontal plastic surgery, soft and hard tissue reconstructive surgery, and surgical aspects of dental implants. He is currently a part-time lecturer at UCLA School of Dentistry.
